Get yourself 3 envelopes and 3 pieces of paper. On each piece of paper write something that you and your girlfriend can do together. As we are restricted to a limited budget, think about things you can do for free, but still allow you to spend time together.

- Make a collage of your and her photos to hang on her wall

5. Relight Her Fire
Imagine your girlfriend opening her front door to see a trail of tea light candles leading towards the bathroom. Every few metres you’ve left a little note, with sweet nothings and teasing statements such as “Getting warmer…”, “You are so adorable” or maybe a simple “I love you”. Maybe there are little gifts for her such as a single chocolate or a single rose.
She continues along the trail, pausing to read each of your notes in turn until she finally pushes open the bathroom door to see you lying in a bubble bath, holding two glasses of wine, surrounded by candles.
